When I heard my guest, Rob Walsh, singing on his podcast, I knew I had to have him on my podcast! He jokes about how bad his singing is and shared a pretty funny story about him trying his hand at karaoke! Rob loves the entire Chris De Burgh collection. So, I love that Rob chose the song "Don't Pay the Ferryman" by Chris De Burgh. Rob discovered Chris De Burgh in the 80's, while folding pizza boxes at Satelite Pizza, and it's stuck with him throughout his life. You see, Satelite Pizza had MTV, and Rob's house didn't. You could rest assured after Rob's shift there were plenty of boxes ready for the next day's orders. Rob had just finished reading "The Clash of the Titans" and couldn't believe this song was singing about the Ferryman!! Rob was hooked right then and there and checked out all music by Chris De Burgh. Now, this wasn't something he was bragging to his bros about in high school, but he sure would share it with the ladies to show his softer side.
