Dr. Phil Boutet's whole life has been surrounded by veterinary medicine. His parents, wife, etc are all veterinarians. So he has a natural heart for us in the profession. In this conversation, we talk about how to establish boundaries when it’s really hard to leave work and how experiences outside of vet med can help you grow. Canadian born and raised, he flew to southern California to start his long career with Banfield Pet Hospital. From associate veterinarian to medical director and to interim Vice-President and currently a director of formulary & supply quality assurance.
