This is probably not a veterinary career path you might think of in vet school, but it just may fit your work and life values.

About the guest:
Leanne Mathew graduated from vet school at the University of Missouri and went straight into veterinary emergency medicine. After two years, she noticed that she was not able to be the person she wanted to be and found a work home with Lap of Love Hospice care for pets. Leanne drives the Lap of Love veterinarian recruiting and training and serves as a vet mentor.

Even if this isn't the vet career path for you, it's important to know that this is an option for pet owners.
