Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the season six premiere of Couple O' Nukes. It is great to be here with y'all. As you can see, if, well, if you're listening, I'll describe it to you. I am on a tropical beach, aka the standard Zoom video background, with a shirt covered in alcoholic beverages, which I don't actually drink often, if ever.The only time I really drink are social occasions. But I wanted to wear it because we are quote partying. We are celebrating five successful seasons of couple of nukes I decided to make 50 episodes the kind of marking point for the seasons prior to that it was kind of based on the weather so to speak the seasons kind of like two seasons a year or three, you know winter and summer but I didn't like that system.I decided 50 episodes, given that we are now every other day of the week, 50 episodes will be the marking point of the seasons. And, that's about it. There's nothing particular about the seasons in terms of themes or anything thematic with it. The season is kind of just, it's just a tracking system, really.But, If you look at the show, in terms of how far I've grown, and for those of you who haven't been here since day one, there have been probably 50 or more episodes removed from the show, uh, as the direction of the show has changed, as my character has changed, and we've come a long way, even just in terms of YouTube, if you look at this video today, compared to Well, you can't even see the old videos because I had them unlisted, but originally it was just a zoom call.Then I redid and reuploaded all the videos with a couple of nukes custom background, which I have changed for season six, something a little more upbeat, a little more hopeful and optimistic. The last one was kind of dark and somber. I could do something a little more colorful, something that I felt like also looked Just, just more, you know, inviting and engaging, and I'm excited for that.And I've even added the season and episode numbers to the format, so that's going to be awesome. As you can see, this is Season 6, Episode 1, because this is the premiere of Season 6. And 2025, you know, is going to have, I guess a couple seasons, but it's going to start off with Season 6. Obviously, the last few episodes of Season 5 made up the first two weeks of the new year.But now we are here with Season 6, and 2025 is going to be a great year. For those of you who aren't familiar with me, if this is your first episode, glad you're here. I'm Mr. Whiskey, founder of Couple of Nukes LLC, which is a company that includes a variety of things. I've got the first book coming out under that company, actually, in the next few weeks here, God vs.the Indomitable Human Spirit. It's my first non fiction faith based book. I have published several fiction books, completely separate from Couple of Nukes. But this book, God vs. the Indomitable Human Spirit, that is going to fall under that. And it is a guidebook for both faith and self development. It's going to be awesome.I am excited for that. Proof that, you know, that launch is going to be in just a couple weeks here. We also have the podcast obviously is the number one center point of the company And it is focused on self improvement and mental health as well as physical health finances career leadership Whatever revolves in your world and whatever your world revolves around so to speak, you know You can come to the show and find That being talked about by experts whether it's scientists and doctors to life coaches and faith based individuals Who have great resources and advice?As well as i'm going to have more solo episodes coming out with season six that are more preaching based Most of them are going to be faith based episodes, but I might have solo episodes that are not faith related so Tons of great information here. And if there is a subject that you're interested in and you haven't seen it on the show yet It's possible that it's coming out in the future, or it could be something that you bring to me and I'll find that experts needed to discuss it or you and I can discuss it.So definitely let me know. So excited to be speaking at a few conferences and currently working with some colleges and high schools to see what we can make happen.So excited for that as well. And I am sick by the way, so as you can hear my voice pretty congested but That reminded me of singing I do want to Drop an album this year. I've got a couple songs that i've been working on Uh, you know in terms of music and lyrics, but I got to get the vocals down and that's what i'm currently struggling with Maybe I might even take singing lessons, you know, I definitely You know Have to humble myself, uh, but I do want to really pursue singing in 2025 as well as for the rest of my life Something i'm very very passionate about so I will be pursuing that This year as well And then more comedy.I want to start performing more stand up comedy. I've only got one recorded time You know i've performed twice only one of them is recorded actively So you can find that on my website as well and i'll be adding to that and keeping everyone updated on my comedy journey. So hopefully by the end of this month or next, I will be performing once or twice, uh, just, you know, local bars and, and wherever else, maybe some smaller comedy clubs, definitely looking forward to that and working on more material and spending more time on stage as well as providing that entertainment for y'all and hopefully connecting with others.And then. Continuing to partner up with products and people that I believe in and trust and, you know, putting out good value into the world. So that's really what Season 6 is looking like in 2025. Additionally, we should have Season 7 and 8. In 2025 as well, if not more This includes not just my show, but i'll be guesting on more shows I haven't applied to be on too many other shows But I do want to continue to be on other shows and you know on my website You can check out all the shows i've been on where I try to add value i've talked about suicide prevention I've talked about grieving i've talked about military mental health mentoring young adults faith So there's a lot of great stuff that i'm trying to put out there You And I do want to take this time to acknowledge and thank God for how far I and the show have come.I always call it his show. You know, I always tell him to take it to the people he knows needs it because I don't know who needs it. You know, I'd like, like to think that everyone, you know, wants to listen to it. Obviously that's not the case, but you know, I also know that we don't know what we need, you know, only God knows what we need.And I don't know what other people. Need only god knows that so every time i've gone to quit podcasting And you know writing and speaking and all of that. He has stopped me and directed me towards something even greater So I really look forward to hopefully having his blessing and favor upon me In this new year as well as moving forward the show and reaching a lot more people But most importantly the people who need it.We had some great success with season five You You know, people wrote in about episodes changing their lives, which was the first season to really have that feedback, you know, directly like that. And that's what I live for, is helping other people. And to hear that, in particular, it was a young woman from Malaysia who felt like the topic of Weight loss, weight gain, and you know, skinniness and health in young women wasn't being addressed a lot.Uh, as it wasn't, and so the episode I had with Tian Wong, you know, hit upon that. And I look forward to a lot more episodes, you know, reaching the right people. I know my show had made it up there on some of the charts in India, and I think it was either Sweden or Finland. So, some interesting stats from around the world.And Season five was the time, you know, in my show where I had the most international guests and also the first time I went on shows in other countries. So I've been super excited about that as I expand upon, you know, the show. I did have some, you know, international calls in season four, but really season five was the big one and I'm so excited as the show has continued to grow.Like I said, this isn't Huge episode or that important of an episode. It's kind of just the announcement of season six You know, I'd love to have a bunch of people here recorded with me throw on a party But it was a last minute thing. I realized that Episode 50 was coming out of season 5 Yesterday actually, you know yesterday as in the day before This episode is released.So I when I realized that season 5 episode 50 was coming out so soon Just put this together real quick. So, you know, not the biggest thing. Season seven, we'll definitely have a big premiere in season eight, but the thing I'm most excited for is the first annual podcasters gala. I have created an event, a gala that is going to be hosted on December 3rd, 2025.I am making a custom suit for it. I am, you know, Hopefully making some awards to give out to to the people there. I'm hosting speakers working with sponsors I am excited for it. You know, there is pod fest. There's podcast movement. There's podcasters cruise There you know is jacksonville podcasters united.There's a bunch of podcasting stuff going on out there but a fancy formal gala I'm telling you this is gonna be the first of its kind And it's gonna be amazing, and I'm so excited for that, and I will be keeping everyone updated on that as I continue to plan that and craft that up. And, you know, I'm so excited for that, and I'm excited for all the people I'm hoping to invite and have attend.And yeah, so that that's it really I don't want to keep rambling on I could ramble on for hours That's what podcasters specialize in but yeah, I want to keep it short and sweet to the point. It's season six I am excited. We're going to do great things, you know We've already got the next few weeks episodes recorded and then You know, we're just gonna keep adding to it.And once we get to 50 it'll be season seven In between season six and season seven You know, I'm gonna have some speaking engagements. I'm gonna have some comedy performances. And I'll be having some solo episodes as well. So, it's great to have Season 6 launched, starting today. I am so grateful for the support.You know, I just thank everyone who has supported me. Whether that's listening to the show, sharing the show, leaving a review, or guesting on the show, or connecting me with people. all. The thing that I have grown to love the most about this particular industry that I am in, the people, the networking, the connections, it's amazing.You know, I have met, like I said, people from around the world. I know someone in almost every state in America. You know, and I have even met some of these people. So, it's amazing to have those friendships. Some of them I'm seeing as lifelong friends and people I talk to all the time. It's amazing. But I'm here doing my thing. God has taken me this far. And, you know, he set things up to give me the name Mr. Whiskey to name the show Couple of Nukes. And I know that every algorithm and every, you know, one could be against or confused by the name.But if God's hand is behind it, I'm not going to change it. So Yeah, I'm excited for the future of Couple of Nukes. Not just the podcast, but the company itself with all the engagements that it has and hopefully eventually expanding into something with in person groups or some kind of, you know, course or program or something to help individuals, whether that's free or, you know, charged.Gotta figure all that out.
