It's an in-person episode! So, be sure to check it out on Youtube!
Today's episode if with Paula S, host of Talk Sh*t With P, a podcast centered around mental health, and celebrating the stories and talents of creative minds.
We start the conversation with talking about some fun memories from Podfest, and our upcoming meeting at Podtour Atlanta, a foreshadowing of the conversation to be had on the community of podcasting. The whole episode focuses on the therapeutic nature of podcasting, which enables individuals to express themselves and feel heard. Not only the self-therapy, but we also talk about how our shows can resonate with people even without our intention, and how it can help them to seek the help they need or speak up. Not only that, but Paula shares how podcasting and the community allows you to be yourself, and the importance of that.
Throughout the episode, Paula shares her life story, talking about how the pandemic and her relationship affected her mental health, and how podcasting ended up playing a significant role in her healing process.
There's also a lot of discussion about how much we love making merch.
